The Pennsylvania Kiwanis Foundation is where you can extend your Pennsylvania Kiwanis impact. When you give to our foundation, you can make a difference in your own hometown, and you can make a difference in the lives of many.
Background
The Pennsylvania Kiwanis Foundation was established in 1980 for the purpose of expanding the reach of the Pennsylvania District Kiwanis by enabling projects that exceed the scope and mission of individual clubs. The growth and success of the Foundation depends on the membership of the Pennsylvania District as well as outside businesses and organizations.
The Pennsylvania Kiwanis Foundation is a non-profit organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, EIN 23-2149735. It is understood that contributions may be tax deductible. No goods or services are given in return for donations. The official registration and financial information of Pennsylvania Kiwanis Foundation may be obtained from the Pennsylvania Department of State by calling 800-732-0999 toll free in Pennsylvania. Registration does not imply endorsement.
Board of Directors
All Pennsylvania Kiwanians are members of the Pennsylvania Kiwanis Foundation. A 15 member elected board of directors is responsible for the operations of the Foundation. Five members are elected each year to a three-year term. An executive board governs the board, consisting of a president, vice-president, secretary, and treasurer. The Pennsylvania Kiwanis Foundation Board meets at four regularly scheduled meetings throughout the year and at the annual District Convention.
